Had a lovely dinner at The Porch. The Harvest Salad was a great recommendation. Was able to be seated by the fireplace which added to the already beautiful atmosphere. Sheridan was a very attentive and friendly server who made sure I was taken care of. She gave me recommendations and patiently answered all my questions. I ll be back :)
Went for restaurant week and their BBQ Pork Shank special was excellent. The barbecue sauce was delicious and lots of meat and the cous cous corn salad was quite filling. We also got the tomato soup which was one of the better tomato soups I've had. My dad got the Garden pizza and my mom got the Thai noodle dish. They have a nice outdoor seating area and service was very good.
Fantastic!! Why is this place only 4.1 stars? Too many haters. As Mikey and Bob would say, imma throw out my credentials. I’ve ate at the best restaurants in Chicago for the past 10 years, and I love top quality food, but I’m a yinzer through and through. This place deserves more than 4.1 Google review stars. Food was great, service was great, layout of the restaurant was awesome for all seasons. I was hesitant to come because of the reviews, and then it turned out to be such a great spot. The burrata salad was delicious, the BBQ chicken pizza was delicious, the pretzel bites and fries were delicious, and the beer menu had Gulden Draak!? Something I’ve only drank at the best beer bar in the US, Hopleaf!? So happy we went, and will definitely be back. Kid friendly too!

Such a cute place to eat. The decor is adorable. They have glass with pressed flowers above the benches that I absolutely adored. I ordered the Grilled Cheese with the Fresh Tomato Basil Soup. I like that there is an option to make everything Gluten Free which is nice for me and my boyfriend who can't eat Gluten. He got the Porch Burger with no bun and it was pretty good. It was a big burger and very flavorful. The waitress was super nice and friendly and was very attentive. The food did take a little while to get to us but they were pretty busy. There were a lot of different drink options I wanted to try but wasn't in the mood for alcohol today so I do look forward to trying this another day.
Abu was very patient and helpful as we reviewed the menu. He was personable and welcoming. We would definitely dine with him again. We also really liked having the manager, Carson, check on us and make sure we were in great shape
I just hosted my niece's bridal shower at the Porch in Upper St. Claire. It was beautiful! I had a LOT of special requests and they accommodated every last one of them. Chris (the GM) had to deal with a lot of little out of the ordinary things I requested and everything was obliged. We had a brunch and the food was excellent. The cost was very reasonable for everything we had. I'm from S. Jersey and had never been to the Porch before so I was taking a huge chance that everything was going to be as I wanted it - and it WAS. Accolades all around. Everyone loved the food and the added "accessories" I had in keeping with my theme for the shower. Carson (the asst GM) was unbelievably helpful and Emily (our server) couldn't do enough for us. It was a beautiful day all the way around! If you're thinking of having an event there - DO it. My niece had a wonderful day and so did all of the guests!
We had a great brunch at The Porch! Colton was a great server and always checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was so good, and so were our drinks! We will definitely be back!
Wow what a awesome the porch burger!!! You put it together yourself so greens was on the side I just put it in + Get it with the mozzarella frys my husband Chris got the toast and tomato supe he enjoyed it a lot to
Husband and I came to Pittsburgh to have a cute little day date and spontaneously stopped for dinner. The whole vibe in the building was wonderful and I could sit and rave about this food all day long. Well worth the 2 hour drive for us!
